On May 23, I am participating in the motionball Toronto Marathon of Sport. All funds raised at the event are donated to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation. Throughout the day, I will be competing in 6 different sports alongside some incredible Special Olympics athletes.

In past years my best fundraising efforts were $25,000. However my goal this year is $40,000!

In order to hit this fundraising target I am running a few fundraising socials including a charity poker tournament March 5th. However, for the most part I am going to be relying on generous donors like yourself willing to support this worthy cause.

If I hit this $40,000 fundraising target I will be putting on an exclusive mini concert this summer and inviting 40 Special Olympics Athletes and their caregivers to attend along with friends and family and anyone who made a donation on my behalf. The concert will include Karl Wolf; Maestro Fresh Wes; Cary Shields and DJ DXB - all of whom have agreed to eliminate their performance fee if this $40,000 target is hit!

And if donations somehow surpass this fundraising target and we reach $50,000 I have accepted a challenge from my motionball staff and have agreed to shave my head at this concert!

So - hoping I can look to you for a generous donation as it would be fabulous to provide this once in a lifetime concert experience for all these Special Olympics Athletes (no need to hit the $50k - as I very much like the little bit of hair I still have on my head!).
