Hey Family and Friends!
On March 20, I am participating in an all-day fundraiser called the Motionball Marathon of Sport. All funds raised at the event are donated to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation. Throughout the day, I will be competing alongside local Special Olympics athletes in a variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, bench ball, ultimate, floor hockey, and more!

This campaign is very special to me. As some of you may know I have a long lasting motto that I try to instil in everyone I meet and encourage everyday. That motto is that: Everyone Matters. Motionball and the Marathon of Sport is one way that I think this can be seen. This amazing campaign and organization demonstrates that you can be whatever you want to be no matter what your circumstances may be and even better it shows that everyone matters and can be seen and heard, and everyone can make a difference.

At motionball’s request, 70% of the funds raised at Marathon of Sport are sent to the local Provincial Chapter. 25% stays with the Special Olympics Canada Foundation to ensure the long-term stability of the movement, and the other 5% is directed to the #NOGOODWAY Campaign which aims to end the use of the R-word (retard) in everyday conversation.

Be a part of the reason that people know they matter and support this amazing cause

Thank you very much for your support,
Natalie
