Hello family and friends,

As many of you may know, I have been a part of an organization called motionball here at Queen's University for the past few years. motionball is a not-for-profit organization whose mandate is to introduce the next generation of donors, volunteers and sponsors to the Special Olympics movement through integrated social and sporting events. motionball now proudly hosts 33 annual events in 19 cities across the country. Through these events and since inception in 2002, motionball has donated over $10 million to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

On March 1st, I will be participating in yet another Marathon of Sport, motionball's main event. The Marathon of Sport partners Queen's students with our Special Olympic athletes from across the community for a day of celebration, integration, and education. I am proud to say that Queen's was able to raise over $23,000 last year for Special Olympics and I hope to surpass that amount this year.

motionball is something very near and dear to my heart and I would greatly appreciate any form of a donation to this worthy cause. The money raised truly makes a difference in these incredible athletes' lives. I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to be the co-chair of this amazing committee and can't wait to see what we accomplish this year.

Thank you so much, it means the world.
