For those of you who may not know, I've been fortunate to be involved with motionball since 2006, and it's an organization that continues to impress and inspire me. We're taking our athletic "talents" to the field again on May 25th for the all-day fundraiser called Marathon of Sport in support of the Special Olympics Canada Foundation. Throughout the day, we'll be competing alongside local Special Olympics athletes in a variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, bench ball, football and more. With your help, last year our team was able to raise over $10k, with the Toronto event raising over $400k overall which we're hoping to surpass this year and reach the $450k mark!

For me, motionball is rather unique in that the focus throughout the day and across their events nationwide truly is on the Special Olympics athletes. With each team having an athlete or two participating alongside them, it allows us to see the positive impact our efforts can have not only on them, but their families as well. Last year our team's Special Olympian Horto truly was an inspiration: always with a smile, a motivating word and a desire to compete with fairness every minute he could.

By making a donation to motionball, you'll be supporting athletes like Horto and together we can level the playing field for thousands of Canadians with intellectual disabilities.

Thank you very much for your support,  Chris
