Motionball and Special Olympics is a huge part of our family and has offered Ethan more opportunities than I could have dreamed possible for him. Any donation you can make to our motionball team this year can make a big difference to the Special Olympics athletes here in Kingston and across Canada.

On June 2, I am participating in an all-day fundraiser called Marathon of Sport alongside Ethan. All funds raised at the event are donated to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation. Throughout the day, I will be competing alongside local Special Olympics athletes in a variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, kickball, bench ball, flag football and tchoukball.

Marathon of Sport is organized by motionball. motionball is a not-for-profit whose mandate is to introduce the next generation of donors, volunteers and sponsors to the Special Olympics movement through integrated social and sporting events. motionball now proudly hosts 30 annual events in 18 cities across the country. Through these events and since inception in 2002, motionball has donated over $9 million to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.
