On May 26, I’m participating in the motionball Marathon of Sport, a fundraising event for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation – a powerful organization that I appreciate more each year. During the day my team and I will compete alongside Special Olympics athletes in a variety of sports (basketball being the most important). It’s a ton of fun, as you can imagine.

motionball – who puts on events like this across the country – is a not-for-profit that aims to introduce the next generation of volunteers/donors to the Special Olympics movement. Last year, motionball raised and donated $1.5M.

Favor time! Lucky participants like myself are asked to raise funds to support the cause. I’m just shy of my target – so if you believe in Karma, click through here to donate! (Note: belief in Karma not mandatory.)

And if you’re interested, you can learn more about motionball (here), the Marathon of Sport (here), and the Special Olympics (here).

Cheers.

Nick
