On May 26, I am participating in an all-day fundraiser called Marathon of Sport. All funds raised at the event are donated to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

Throughout the day, I will be competing alongside local Special Olympics athletes in a variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, bench ball, football and more.

The Special Olympic athlete joining my team this year is Matthew Hoffman - perhaps one of the nicest people I have ever met and someone I am lucky to call a friend. He has been competing in Special Olympic programs for over 10 years and is also known to be quite the Elvis impersonator!

As most of you know - Marathon of Sport is an event run and organized by motionball.

motionball is a not-for-profit my brothers and I started whose mandate is to introduce the next generation of donors, volunteers and sponsors to the Special Olympics movement through integrated social and sporting events. motionball now proudly hosts 34 annual events in 19 cities across the country. Through these events and since inception in 2002, motionball has donated over $9 million to the Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

This years Marathon of Sport in Toronto has a goal of raising $400,000 and my personal fundraising goal is $25,000! In order to achieve both these goals I am going to need your help!

Thank you very much in advance for your support, both Matthew and I very much appreciate it!

Kindest regards
Paul
