I will be participating in an event that looks to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation. This event is called Motionball - Marathon of Sport. It’s an all-day sports marathon with each team led by 1 or 2 Special Olympic athletes! We will be playing six different sports this year. I participated in it last year and it was so much fun but best of all, it was a moving experience to be part of. Some details of the event:  Date & Time: Sunday September 18th, 9:00am – 4:00pm  What: Marathon of Sports – sports include Baseball, flag football, Frisbee ultimate, bench ball, basketball and soccer  Where: John Taylor Collegiate  Who: There will be 10 of us in a team (all friends of mine) and we are assigned 1 or 2 Special Olympians to be part of our team and we will be playing against other teams  Why: To raise funds for Special Olympics (and because it is awesome!)
